Different ranges have different policies. The range I shoot at doesn't mind you picking up your own brass but they don't permit you cabbaging up brass that you didn't fire. If you don't like the policy you'll have to go somewhere else to ng they enforce the policy. By using recycled and reusable materials, affordable craft supplies, and a glue gun, you can turn books into so many different items — including jewelry, furniture, décor, and more. Old and worn out picture books don’t have to be relegated to your recycle bin. Try some of these book craft ideas instead or come up with your own!

If you're not one to want to pick up hundreds of rounds of spent brass after a day of shooting, perhaps implementing one of these ideas will help you: Make it a rule to pick up the spent brass casings after emptying the firearm. This decreases the amount of brass you're picking up at a time and ensures you aren't leaving money lying on the ground. she didn't pick up the brass unfortunately. and also neither of us were ready to have mini brass pickers haha. It's funny that you mention finding a woman haha, I've been on the dating scene for a few months and it just surprises me how many women are anti-gun or freak out when I mention I shoot and own.

I wasn't saving any brass this time. But two guys where there shooting their own reloads and collecting their brass. While we where shooting, they started picking up my brass, without saying anything to me. One even got in my way while picking my brass up when I moved to the bench behind the firing line.   For shell pick up we use round magnets (with handle) that are sold in building supply stores for nail pick up. For brass headed shells they will still pick them up by the primer. I never tried them on metallic but they are powerful so suspect they will work on them as well. Terry_P,

"Pick Up Your Own Brass" is an excellent and informative book. Being in business for myself I was very much interested in how an agency with such a professional reputation was able to manage their group of skilled investigators. I was hoping the book would be full of leadership tips that I could apply to my own business.

I wasn't disappointed!/5(17). Pick Up Your Own Brass was indeed, a ‘page turner.’” “Kathleen McChesney and Bill Gavin, both hugely credentialed FBI senior managers, detail how a diverse, unwieldy, bureaucratic, and public-spotlighted agency pulled and pushed itself to regain its place as the preeminent law enforcement agency in the : Potomac Books.

So I was thrilled to come upon the section so aptly named, “The Root of (Nearly) Every Problem” that tackles the idea that ineffective communication is the root of many interpersonal and organizational problems.

Greatest invention, not only do I pick up my own brass, but all the other left over brass in the area. This will pay for it's self in no time as I recycle the cases I can't use. Louie LIZZA. Thursday 08 March, Am the envy of my fellow shooters and being super senior this awesome invention is a definite must.

Picking up your own brass: physically picking up the brass shell casing at the gun range. In other words, being responsible. Not being too “big for your britches.” Doing the grunt work. Willingly pitching in at all levels. So, what does that have anything to do with leadership and you.

To begin with, it’s actually. At my local range I always pick up the brass that fall near me, but I won't go after any that's around other people. I think crawling around somebody is rude.

I don't like, though, the busy bodies who make a point of raking all around me, coming into my lane, that is very rude. Basically, I say clean up your own trash and don't bother others. An Ammo-Up machine costs $, so it would take pounds of brass to pay for one of our units.

Once you own an Ammo-Up, picking up the brass and reusing or recycling it will be a breeze. So the next time you finish a shooting session, take a few extra moments to prevent waste and always reuse and recycle your brass. If you pick up all cases and buy another box of bullets your total investment coast is now $ and your price per round has dropped significantly to $ You continue this trend of buying a box of bullets every rounds and catching all your brass till you have fired 1, rounds.

First off, this book wasn't written for me. I'm not the target audience here, so please take my comments with that in mind. in brief, "Picking Up The Brass" mostly focuses on the training experiences of young Eddy Nugent, and then briefly follows him into the first years of his military service/5(20).

On the ranges that allow it, I'll pick up range brass. If the range is full, I'll pick up only what's in my lane and immediately behind it. Once the brass is out of the sonic cleaner, I inspect the brass. Any brass with signs of obvious flaws get chucked into the "bring to the metal recycler" bucket.

Similarly, Xhenet Aliu's lustrous Brass fuses two distinct plot lines: that of Elsie—a young, pregnant waitress in love with Bashkim, an Albanian line cook—and the journey of her daughter, Luljeta, 17 years later, to reconcile the past. The result is a tale alive with humor and gumption, of the knotty.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips or easy ways to pick the brass up out of the grass? The grass is kinda long. The bolt rifles and revolvers are no brainers to collect used brass but, its the auto pistols that really throw it.
